Christian Academy of Louisiana took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Open Door Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
Open Door Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They had just enough and edged Christian HomeSchool Sports Association of Acadiana out 64-62. The victory was just what Open Door Christian Academy needed coming off of a 63-40 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Christian Academy of Louisiana took a serious blow against Christian Home Educators Fellowship on Tuesday, falling 81-30. While losing is never fun, Christian Academy of Louisiana can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while Christian Home Educators Fellowship is ranked 54th).
Open Door Christian Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. As for Christian Academy of Louisiana, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Open Door Christian Academy came up short against Christian Academy of Louisiana in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 49-44. Can Open Door Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
