On Saturday, the Sundance Bulldogs faced the Meeteetse Longhorns in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Sundance took down Meeteetse 51-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sundance.
Meeteetse's loss came despite strong showings from Daniel Pina and Ethan Salzman. Pina scored six points, while Salzman scored eight points along with three steals. Salzman is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Sundance's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Meeteetse, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Upton the next time they take the court. Sundance will head out to face Upton at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Meeteetse will host them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
