After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Bayside brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on the Deep Creek Hornets with a sharp 23-2 victory on Saturday. The Marlins' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Bayside's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Deep Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Bayside will take on Norview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Marlins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pilots have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
