Jahir Blanton and Isaiah Scott provided fans with a highlight when they connected against East Orange Campus. The connection was good for 57 yards, the longest such play in Super Essex - American this season.
Seton Hall Prep added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Nutley, 50-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Pirates.
Elijah Robinson threw for 210 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Kenny Rosario was the best receiver in the league this week as Montclair topped Livingston. Rosario racked up 4 receptions for 129 yards. Donovan McDonald helped Montclair's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 61 yards.
The Mounties' Robinson and Rosario led Super Essex - American in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Robinson has thrown for 509 yards this season, while Rosario has 14 catches for 242 yards. M J Mughetto from Seton Hall Prep leads the league in rushing with 391 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when West Orange takes on John Finnegan's team. At the moment, the Mountaineers are in third, while the Pirates are in first.
Bloomfield was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to sixth in the league. The Bengals defeated Columbia 14-0 earlier in the week.
