The Milpitas Trojans will head out to challenge the King's Academy Knights at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Milpitas is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
On Monday, Milpitas made easy work of Eastside College Prep and carried off a 3-0 win.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-15.

Ethan Chan and Avi Ware were among the main playmakers for Milpitas as the former had 11 digs and ten assists and the latter had eight digs and one assist. That's the most digs Chan has posted since back in March. Mitchell Mai also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.
Milpitas was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, King's Academy earned a 3-1 victory over Eastside College Prep on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won eight in a row.
King's Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 22-25, 25-12.
Milpitas better focus on containing David Satorio and Ben Xiong as the pair were huge in King's Academy's win. Satorio had eight digs, while Xiong had nine kills, five digs, and three blocks. Xiong has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played.
Milpitas' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-9. As for King's Academy, their record is now 10-16.
Milpitas took their victory against King's Academy in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
