Falls Lake came tearing into Monday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Research Triangle Raptors, posting a 65-26 win. The Firebirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 22 points or more this season.

Falls Lake found their leader in sophomore Khloe Massengill, who posted 19 points. That's the most points Massengill has posted since back in November of 2024. Jeneen Mason was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Falls Lake's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Research Triangle, their defeat was their 24th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-23.
