 In other batting news,  Caroline Mabe was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Emiley Rogers, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 On Alleghany's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cheyenne Turney, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 The  win  got North Stokes back to even at 3-3. As for Alleghany, their defeat was  their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-5.
 North Stokes will be playing in front of their home fans against Patrick County at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Alleghany, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Elkin at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
