After having lost a blowout to Wheeler in their previous contest, Sayre were happy to find some success on Friday. Sayre strolled past Mooreland with points to spare, taking the match 21-6. That result was just more of the same for Sayre, who also won the last time these teams played.
The victory bumped Sayre's record up to 1-2. The loss dropped Mooreland's record to 1-2.
Sayre will look to defend their home turf next week against Frederick at 7:00 PM. As for Mooreland, they will face off against Oklahoma Bible. Mooreland come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
