The St. John Bosco Academy Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 34-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nezperce. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. John Bosco Academy of the 42-32 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nezperce to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kairys Grant, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubree Lux, who scored six points along with three steals.
St. John Bosco Academy's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.7 points per game. As for Nezperce, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.
St. John Bosco Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nezperce will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Deary at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th. Deary will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Nezperce surely won't give up without a fight.
