There's no place like home for ConVal, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Lebanon Raiders with a sharp 10-4 victory on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cougars have posted against the Raiders since May 2, 2016.
Isaac Clough was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Henry Hartwell was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Grayson Yergeau, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.
