The Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints fell victim to the Columbia Academy Bulldogs''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Bulldogs, falling 62-0. Mount Juliet Christian Academy has struggled against Columbia Academy recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Montae Baldwin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Columbia Academy, rushing for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while also catching a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Rosson, who threw for 176 yards and three touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes.
Mount Juliet Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Columbia Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Juliet Christian Academy will take on Clarksville Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarksville Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Columbia Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grace Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
