After a string of four wins, the Braham Bombers's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell to Upsala 75-71. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Leading Upsala to victory were Noah Boeckermann and Jack Primus. Boeckermann dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Primus dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Primus hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Joseph Guthrie, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Braham's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8. As for Upsala, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
Braham will stay at home for another game and welcome Browerville at 5:30 p.m. on February 16th. Upsala's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] at 7:15 p.m. on February 15th.
