Stern has been on the road for three straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Animo De La Hoya Boxers at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Animo De La Hoya took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Stern, who comes in off a win.
On Monday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Stern made off with a 51-50 victory over Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus.
Vince Villanueva was the offensive standout of the matchup as he dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jr Romero, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Animo De La Hoya's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 39-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rise Kohyang.
Stern is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Animo De La Hoya, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
