Kenlynn Hinton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off six hits. In other batting news, Perry Central let Peyton Merrill and Rylen Hinton run wild. Merrill went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base, while Hinton scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Merrill is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Journey Shows, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.
Perry Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 12.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Tylertown's offense. They lost 17-0 to St. Patrick on Tuesday.

Tylertown's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Perry Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .425. It's a different story for Tylertown, though, as they've only averaged .250. Will they be able to contain Perry Central's hitters?
