Broadwater Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Tidewater Academy Warriors as the Broadwater Academy Vikings made off with an 11-0 victory. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 11-1 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2018.

Ramsey Revelle made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Kacey Ford was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elana Hickman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Broadwater Academy is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on Isle of Wight Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tidewater Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Kenston Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
