River City Believers Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Thompson, who scored seven points along with 12 rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Garcia, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
River City Believers Academy bumped their record down to 6-12 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4.
