Terry walked away with a 54-42 victory over Hattiesburg on Wednesday. This was a revenge matchup for Terry, as the team was forced to settle for a 51-46 loss when these two played two weeks ago.
Terry's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madison Jones led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. Jones is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Zion Nelson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Terry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Hattiesburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-10.
