Leading DSST: Green Valley Ranch to victory were Shalom Abioye and Jovonnie Babineaux. Abioye dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Babineaux scored 19 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Leul Michael, who scored six points.
Despite the loss, DSST: Cedar had strong showings from Matthew Stophel, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Simon Alexander, who scored ten points along with two blocks.
DSST: Green Valley Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for DSST: Cedar, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DSST: Green Valley Ranch will take on Manual at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Manual's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for DSST: Cedar, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Stargate School at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Stargate School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Thursday.
