Myla Hoover was her usual excellent self, scoring 31 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Huss. The matchup was Hoover's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Swann, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and three steals.
Kings Mountain bumped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Huss, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
