Montgomery (San Diego, Calif.), as the unit scored 14 in defeating
Montgomery (San Diego, Calif.), 41-14.
The Knights were up 35-7 at the half after taking the lead on a punt return touchdown by
Cory McKesson in the first quarter.
San Marcos expanded its lead to 34 points entering the fourth quarter. SM's lone score in the quarter came on a defensive touchdown.
McKesson stood out for the Knights in the win. The senior ran for one touchdown. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.

Marcos Mathis was the standout player for his team. The senior ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 12 touchdowns on the season.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 30-0 win for San Marcos.
The loss was the third in a row for Montgomery.
In a non-conference game next week San Marcos (2-1) takes on Escondido, and Montgomery (0-3) will go up against Southwest also in a non-conference game.
