Basketball Recap: Bremen Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Bremen Lions came up short against the Concord Minutemen and fell 60-50. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Bremen saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chase Devine went 11-for-21 en route to 34 points and six boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Devine has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddux Hickman, who posted five points.

Bremen's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Concord, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-9 record.

Bremen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 49-43 victory against Triton on the 25th. As for Concord, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-22 win against Glenn on the 25th.
