Kennedy got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats by a score of 2-0. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Kennedy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Back of the Yards College Prep scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 3-18-4. As for Back of the Yards College Prep, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kennedy is set to square off against their familiar foe Victoria Soto at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Back of the Yards College Prep will challenge rival Little Village at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
