After a string of eight wins, The Morton Potters''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They suffered a tough 42-21 loss at the hands of Washington. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Morton in their matchups with Washington: they've now lost nine in a row.
Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-1. As for Washington, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1.
Morton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Washington will be playing at home against Danville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Danville is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
