The Washington Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by North Cobb Christian at home and fell 92-60. While losing is never fun, Washington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 410th, while the Eagles are ranked 136th).
Gabe Bolden continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Cobb Christian, going 9 for 15 from beyond the arc en route to 46 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bolden has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Thomason, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Washington dropped their record down to 4-13 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game.
