The Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Bradford Academy Archers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Cape Fear Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 two weeks ago.
Even though Cape Fear Christian Academy has not done well against Fayetteville Christian recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way. Cape Fear Christian Academy took down Fayetteville Christian 44-25. The win was some much needed relief for Cape Fear Christian Academy as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Cape Fear Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Perri Caroline Ennis, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Ella John Dupree was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 6 steals.
Meanwhile, Bradford Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against Friendship Christian by a score of 29-20 last Tuesday.
Harrells Christian Academy's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Cape Fear Christian Academy's loss dropped theirs to 0-3.
