Softball Recap: Newberry Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Newberry extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 5-6 in the process. They blew past the Cedarville Trojans 11-3. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight runs or more this season.

As for Cedarville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since May 3rd.

For Cedarville's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shelby Sayles, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

As of now, neither Newberry nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
