Sullivan North have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Thursday. It will be a battle of North versus South as they square off against Sullivan South at 7:30 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
If Sullivan South were riding high off their 42-0 takedown of Sullivan East two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Sullivan South suffered a grim 13-42 defeat to Elizabethton last Friday. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a suprise as Elizabethton enjoys a considerable advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Meanwhile, Sullivan North have been struggling to pick up a win, with their game against Sullivan East making it three winless games in a row. Sullivan North ended up on the wrong side of a painful 8-30 walloping at Sullivan East's hands. The state rankings had actually given Sullivan North a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
