Notus hadn't beaten Rimrock on the road since September 27, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them  on Monday. The Pirates had just enough and edged out the Raiders  3-2. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Raiders  two weeks ago, they had to take a  3-1  defeat.
 Notus wouldn't go down easily and took Rimrock into a fifth set  where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-20, 15-25, 13-25,  16-14.
 Katelyn Jordan paced Notus' offense, picking up seven kills. Jordan got some help from  Kendall Woodland and her 11 assists. Jordan was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.
The  win made it two in a row for Notus and  bumps their season record up to 4-14. As for Rimrock, their loss was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-13.
 Coming up, Notus will venture away from home to  challenge Liberty Charter  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Rimrock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
