Baseball Recap: Greater Lawrence Tech Comes Up Short

Greater Lawrence Tech lost against Northeast Metro RVT back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Reggies fell just short of the Knights by a score of 7-6. The Reggies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greater Lawrence Tech got a big performance out of Richy Dominguez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerlin Melo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Greater Lawrence Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Northeast Metro RVT, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Greater Lawrence Tech will take on rival Whittier RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Northeast Metro RVT is set to challenge their familiar foe Greater Lowell Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
