Andrew Botner Delivers Electric Performance Vs Seeger
North Vermillion picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Andrew Botner. Botner was unstoppable, rushing for 136 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also picking up 70 receiving yards. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Botner is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against North Central on Friday. Back in August (the last time Botner saw the Thunderbirds), he rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Matthew Dawson's big game helped extend North Vermillion's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Dawson as he threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons faces off against North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Dawson took on the Thunderbirds, he rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 88 yards and a touchdown while completing 87.5% of his passes. Rounding off our Top Five is Cian Moore of Covington. Moore rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 95 yards.
Moore might have his next game, a home matchup with Attica, circled on his calendar. When Moore last faced the Red Ramblers last Friday, he rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries.
