Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jordan Burks, who scored 19 points. The matchup was Burks' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Damon Ameperosa, who scored 14 points.
Leading The Meadows School to victory were Cyrus Hutchison and Jeremiah Toby. Hutchison scored 15 points, while Toby scored 17 points. The match was Hutchison's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Ryan Kirk was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for The Meadows School, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Laughlin at 4:30 p.m. on December 19th. The Meadows School will be home for the holidays to greet Pahrump Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
