It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Vincennes Lincoln Alices had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 48-39 victory over the Patriots. The win was some much needed relief for Vincennes Lincoln as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rylie Schipp, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Becher, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Vincennes Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Heritage Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-6.
Vincennes Lincoln will square off against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pike Central is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Heritage Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
