Everything went their way against Zion Christian Academy as Springfield made off with a 77-56 victory. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Springfield as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
It was another big night for E'shon Thompkins, who scored 26 points. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony Petties, who scored 11 points.
Springfield's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Zion Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
