After flying high against the Jacksonville Christian Academy Conquerors   last Friday, New Bern Christian Academy came back down to earth. New Bern Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough  45-15 loss at the hands of Faith Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points New Bern Christian Academy has scored all season.
 Despite the  defeat, New Bern Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up:  Alli Anderson  scored four points along with ten  rebounds and two  steals.
  Dani Dawson was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 18 points along with nine  rebounds and seven  assists for Faith Christian Academy. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Dawson has scored at least a third of Faith Christian Academy's points.  Bailey Voeller was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with three  steals.
 New Bern Christian Academy's loss  ended a four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-3. As for Faith Christian Academy,  the  victory  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 7-6.
 New Bern Christian Academy will head out on the road to  challenge  Greenville Christian Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Faith Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Trinity Christian focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
