The Jacksboro Tigers won the last time they faced the Henrietta Bearcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Jacksboro came out on top against Henrietta by a score of 56-43. Given Jacksboro's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 528th, while Henrietta is ranked 1101st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Jacksboro to victory were Kylie Tullous and Hayden Walker. Tullous scored 21 points along with four steals, while Walker scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Walker hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games.
The win makes it two in a row for Jacksboro and bumps their season record up to 8-9. As for Henrietta, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-8.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing City View the next time they take the court. Jacksboro will host City View at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Henrietta will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
