After a string of six wins, the Napa Christian Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a hard 84-69 fall against Summerfield Waldorf. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Napa Christian saw an underclassman step up: Breydan Worth scored 42 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. That was a full 60.9% of Napa Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Trammell, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Napa Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Summerfield Waldorf, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.
Napa Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Summerfield Waldorf will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th.
