Brandywine moved up to 287 from 389 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Lakeland. The Bobcats climbed the ranks as a result of topping Beatty 38-16.
Brandywine took down the Rangers 38-16 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Buchanan's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Lyman Thomas threw for 150 and one touchdown and Mac Elliott had 50 yards receiving. On the ground Jeff Mucha chipped in 142 yards. Mucha helped Buchanan's passing attack out by catching three balls for 45 yards.
Buchanan's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bucks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Thomas has thrown for 991 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Elliott has 18 catches for 398 yards. Doug Freeman leads the league in rushing with 1185 yards.
J Myers' team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 38 points on Beatty.
