Blind Brook waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged out the Dobbs Ferry Eagles 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted against the Eagles since April 1, 2017.
Alex Schneider spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bennett Cuesta was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Zellman, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs.
