The biggest upset of the week belonged to Salida, who took down 162nd ranked Custer County, 21-14. Jimmy Fontana ran for 103 yards during the win.
Buena Vista extended the longest winning streak in 1A Tri-Peaks this week by beating Rye, 35-34. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Demons.
Tristen Hamler threw for 11 yards and 11 touchdowns. He went 1-4 with 1 interception.
TJ Stockton was a passing and rushing force as Colorado Springs Christian topped John Mall. Stockton's key target this week was Tyler Kiepke, who caught 4 passes for 59 yards.
Stockton was a beast in the backfield as the Lions defeated the Panthers.
Stockton was the best running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 235 yards as Colorado Springs Christian topped John Mall. Jacob Santarelli also contributed to the rushing game with 91 yards on the ground.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Ellicott's JaVonte' Stewart and Jacob Crist have proven to be a lethal combination. Stewart has thrown for 627 yards this season, while Crist has 11 catches for 383 yards. The Thunderbolts' Sean Daniels leads the league in rushing yards with 806.
As it stands, the Spartans are in third, while Jay Kersey's team is in second.
Davey Crockett's team fell to the Lions 34-19 last week, the largest margin of any game.
