The Carlisle County Comets stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Fulton County 85-41 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-20.
Carlisle County was led to victory by Kenton Arnold and Carter Burnett. Arnold scored 18 points, while Burnett scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Bradyn Williams, who scored ten points.
Carlisle County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Fulton County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlisle County will take on Fulton City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Fulton City has struggled recently with 11 defeats in a row, while Carlisle County will arrive with three straight wins. As for Fulton County, they will head out on the road to take on Hickman County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hickman County is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
