Enumclaw is on a nine-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Decatur is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Hornets will host the Golden Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Enumclaw is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.3 runs per game this season.
On Friday, Enumclaw made easy work of Federal Way and carried off a 16-6 victory. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Enumclaw got a massive performance out of Alyssa Harris, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three doubles, and two RBI. Those four runs gave Harris a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Neal, who went 2-for-5 with six RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Enumclaw kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 13 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Decatur posted their closest victory since April 16, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past Kentlake 9-8.
The team relied heavily on Luci Pech, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one double. Sam Hackney was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
Decatur is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Enumclaw, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Enumclaw has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .571. However, it's not like Decatur struggles in that department as they've averaged .509. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Enumclaw took their win against Decatur in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Gators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
