It was another big night for Cesar Santiago , who scored 33 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Juan Sanchez, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Dr. Maya Angelou Community waltzed into Monday's match with five straight wins but they left with six. They claimed a resounding 61-20 victory over Stella High Charter Academy at home. Considering Dr. Maya Angelou Community has won three contests by more than 25 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
The losses dropped West Adams to 2-3 and USC-MAE to 0-3.
Everything came up roses for West Adams against Dr. Maya Angelou Community when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 64-21 victory.
