Mainland won the last time they faced Deltona and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mainland Buccaneers really took it to the Deltona Wolves for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-22 victory. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Tori Alexander was nothing short of spectacular: she went 9 of 15 en route to 20 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklin Cooper, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds.

Mainland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Deltona, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Mainland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-47 win against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the 17th. As for Deltona, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-46 defeat against Seminole on the 16th.
