After two weeks on the road, Plainfield East is heading back home. On Friday they take on Plainfield South at 7:00 PM. Plainfield East are limping into the game on a three-game losing streak.
Plainfield East came within a touchdown against Joliet West last Friday, but wound up with a 10-17 loss.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Plainfield South and Joliet Central, but Plainfield South stepped up in the second half. Plainfield South walked away with a 17-10 win over Joliet Central. The success represented a nice turnaround for Plainfield South, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-29 defeat.
Plainfield South's victory lifted them to 5-1 while Plainfield East's loss dropped them down to 2-4. We'll find out if Plainfield South can add another positive mark to their record or if Plainfield East can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Plainfield South's step.
