The Florence Gophers can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by Globe on the road to the tune of 64-11. The victory was some much needed relief for Florence as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
E.c. Turk-francis went supernova for Florence, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Turk-francis has scored all season. Laila Bryan was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Florence's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Globe, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Florence will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Benjamin Franklin at 5:30 p.m. Benjamin Franklin is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Globe, they will face off against American Leadership Academy - Anthem South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
