Sarah Cassidy gave up the fewest walks she has since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. She was dialed in as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against East back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Cassidy has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Cassidy and Clay will look to defend their home field on Friday against Oak Hill at 5:00 p.m. The Panthers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Oaks thanks in part to Cassidy: she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched.
