Volleyball Recap: Wapahani's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games

After a string of seven wins, Wapahani's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Yorktown Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 23-25, 25-18.

Lyndsey Robinson had an outrageously good game for Yorktown as she had 17 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave Robinson a new career-high. Liv Jones also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Wapahani's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Yorktown, their record is now 7-4.

Coming up, Wapahani will welcome Jay County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Yorktown, they will venture away from home to take on Pendleton Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
