The Amador Buffaloes will head out to  take on the Argonaut Mustangs  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Amador's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  in their last three contests.

 Brad Blankenheim had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 185 yards and two  scores while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and also throwing for 155 yards and three  TDs on only 12 passes. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 111  rushing yards per game. Amador's leading receiver  John McPartland was  Blankenheim's top target yet again, picking up 99 receiving yards and three  touchdowns.
 Amador's run defense was locked in: El Dorado could only muster two yards per carry. The Buffaloes didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.3.
Meanwhile,  Argonaut played a tough  game  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost  35-14 to Bradshaw Christian. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 511th, while the Pride are ranked 226th).

 Argonaut now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for Amador, they now  have a winning record of 5-4.
