The Parkway Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Bath Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
It was a proper cat-fight when Parkway took on New Bremen on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 20-5 margin over the Cardinals. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won five in a row.

Parkway got a massive performance out of Hadley Stover, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Stover a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Nichols, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Parkway always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Bremen only posted an OBP of .407.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Bath made sure to put some runs up on the board against Ottawa-Glandorf on Wednesday. The Wildcats never let the Titans get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Mia Reindel was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Addi Gibson was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Emmie Parker also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Parkway's record is now 19-3. As for Bath, their record now sits at 13-8.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Parkway hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .397. However, it's not like Bath struggles in that department as they've averaged .347. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Parkway came out on top in a nail-biter against Bath in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
