The Liberty Common Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Wellington at home to the tune of 82-21. The victory was some much needed relief for Liberty Common as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Kyle Baldwin was a one-man wrecking crew for Liberty Common as he went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 3 assists. It was the first time this season that Baldwin scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Pierce Richardson, who scored 11 points along with five steals and three blocks.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Wellington struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Liberty Common racked up 17 assists.
Liberty Common's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Wellington, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
